(BEDFORD) - Police are looking for whoever broke into Shawswick Elementary School and took around $100 from the vending machines.
According to Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig, someone broke into the building sometime late Wednesday or early Thursday morning.
Craig says entry was made through a window at the school.
Officials reported the break-in at 8 a.m. Thursday when when a teacher noticed an item in the teacher's classroom had been moved.
During their investigation the staff discovered the vending machines had been broken into.
Anyone with information about the break-in is asked to call police.
