(NORMAN) - The Norman Station Conservation Club will host its monthly bluegrass jamboree from 1-5 p.m. Sunday.
The event will feature: Norman Station, Hickory Wind and Leatherwood Valley.
The jamboree is free, and the public is invited.
Homemade soups, sandwiches and desserts will be available from the facility's kitchen.
The club is in northwestern Jackson County, 4.5 miles north of U.S. 50 from the Leesville/Fort Ritner turn-off (Norman Road or Jackson County Road 1250 West), then one-tenth mile east on County Road 450 North. You can also reach the club by taking Ind. 58, then heading three-quarters of a mile south from the Norman Station stop sign, then one-tenth of a mile east on County Road 450 North. Watch for signs.
An annual membership in the Norman Station Conservation Club may be acquired for $10 per family.
The club's mailing address is Post Office Box 27, Norman, IN 47264. Camping is available near the club's lake.
