(MITCHELL) - Some water customers in Mitchell are under a precautionary boil order today after a water main break this morning.
The order will remain in effect until further notice for customers on Hancock Avenue, west of 14th Street, Teke Burton Drive and 14th Street.
It also affects Hatfield and Burris Elementary Schools, as well as Sprint and Gasoline Alley convenience stores.
Customers may experience low water pressure and no water at time until repairs can be made.
Before using water, customers are advised to being their water to a vigorous boil for two minutes and then let cool before drinking or use bottle water.
