(FRENCH LICK) - Local poets are urged to join in a night of poetry at the Melton Public Library in French Lick at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Poets should come prepared to share their works.
Poets are urged to have typed copies of their original works for submission to the National Amateur Poetry Competition.
Poetry for the competition is limited to 26 lines or less, but may be written in any style and on any subject. The author's name and address should be included on any poems being submitted for the contest.
Poets are also welcome to share poetry at the Poet's Corner that they do not care to submit to the contest.
