Police Chase Vehicle On Ind. 60

(UNDATED) - Police were pursuing a vehicle in Lawrence County that was driving east on Ind. 60 toward Washington County late Saturday night.

At 11:44 p.m. Bedford Police were in pursuit of a teal-blue car with paper tags that refused to stop for a traffic violation on southbound Ind 37 and 29th Street.

Lawrence County officers joined the persuit near Briscoe's Mobile Homes

At 11:46 the car passed the Sprint Station and then turned on Hancock Avenue and then onto Ind. 60 East at which time Washington County Police were notified.

At 11:53 the vehicle crossed the Washington County line.

Stop sitcks were placed down as the vehicle entered Campbellsburg and the vehicle blew a tire. and crashed near West View Church.

The then ran from the car into a field. Police dogs were tracking the individual.
