(LIVONIA) - Two Crawford County women were killed in a collision Wednesday morning in Washington County.
According to a Washington County Sheriff's Department Police report, 65-year-old Pamela Goldman, of English, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her passenger 56-year-old Carol Roser, of Leavenworth, was taken to St. Vincent Salem Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
According to police the accident happened on Ind. 56, west of Possom Hollow Road near Livonia.
Police received a 911 call reporting the accident at 9:21 a.m.
Police say Goldman was traveling west on Ind. 56 when she drove off the right side of the roadway, lost control of her vehicle and crossed into the eastbound lane.
Her vehicle collided with a eastbound 2008 Chevrolet van driven by 39-year-old Thomas Gegner, of Paoli.
Gegner, suffered minor injuries and was taken to St. Vincent Salem Hospital where he was treated and released.
The Washington County coroner, Washington County Emergency Medical Services and the Livonia Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
Washington County Coroner Rondale Brishaber declined to release additional information on the nature of the injuries suffered by the accident victims.
