(MARTINSVILLE) - Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an ATV accident that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Morgan County near the town of Wilbur.
35-year-old Michael Mills, of Martinsville, was operating a 2008 Yamaha Rhino at the intersection of Little Hurricane Road and Twin Lakes Road when he lost control of the ATV causing it to flip.
The machine then landed on two passengers that were ejected from the ATV. 35-year-old Patricia Myers, of Martinsville, suffered a broken jaw and clavicle.
A juvenile passenger suffered a broken arm.
Both injured passengers were transported to IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis by ambulance.
Police say it does not appear that any occupants were wearing seatbelts or safety equipment at the time of the accident.
Indiana Conservation Officers were assisted by the Morgan County Sheriff's Department.
