(WASHINGTON) - Two women charged with shoplifting in Daviess County, apparently like spending time in jail.
19-year-old Lauren Elizabeth Robinson, of Port St. Lucie, Florida was arrested and jailed over the weekend for allegedly shoplifing this past weekend at the Washington Wal-Mart.
21-year-old Elizabeth Heath, also known as Josie Dahl O'Bryan, of Owensboro, Kentucky was also arrested this past weekend for shoplifting at Washington's CVS Pharmacy.
Both women were released from jail after posting bond.
At 5 pm Monday, Washington police were called to investigate a slow moving vehicle, occupied by Heath and Robinson, in the location of Washington's Cherry Tree Plaza.
Police also received calls reporting that the women had been in Trader Bakers and Goody's, both located in the plaza.
When police stopped the car they found items allegedly taken from those stores.
Police also found drugs in the car.
Robinson and Heath were charged, possession of stolen property, and possession of a schedule III controlled substance. Robinson was also charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated refusal.
