(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after causing a disturbance at IU Health Hospital.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers were called to the emergency room early Thursday reporting they were treating a man and he was fighting with the staff and cursing.
Robert Kimmel, 44, of Bedford, was transported to the hospital around 10:46 p.m. by ambulance after he had fallen in the 2500 block of J Street and hit his head.
When police arrived Kimmel, who was intoxicated, continue to fight with hospital staff and officers.

Parsley says, after being treated for his head injury, Kimmel was taken to jail on charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
