(BEDFORD) - 34-year-old Michael Gentry, of Bedford, was arrested after police went to a home in the 700 block of Old Ind. 37 North Tuesday night and found drugs.
According to Oolitic Deputy Marshal Bill Allen, he and Indiana State Troopers Dan Crozier and Shea Teague went to the home at 8:51 p.m.
"After an investigation I obtained a search warrant to search the home of Gentry," Allen wrote in a press release. "During the search I located a white powder substance that tested positive for meth. I also located marijuana and paraphernalia."
Gentry was taken to the Lawrence County Jail at 12:05 a.m. this morning and charged with a felony charge of possession of meth under 30 grams, possession of marijuana, reckless possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.
Allen says Gentry, at the time of this arrest, was out on bond from unrelated charges.
Allen says anyone with meth or drug activity information should contact him at 275-5523.
