Bedford Man Arrested After Pushing And Hitting Wife

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after getting into a physical fight with his wife.

According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers were called to a home in the 1000 block of J Hunter Driver Thursday morning.

There they found a woman, who reported she had been arguing with her husband and that argument turned physical.

"The man pushed and shoved her and then after getting her on the ground hit her in the head," Parsley says.

The woman suffered no injuries.

Police arrested 42-year-old Aaron Jones and charged him with domestic battery.
