(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police arrested 38-year-old James Hanson on various drug charges after a routine traffic stop early Tuesday morning.
While on patrol, a Bloomington police officer noticed a white 1993 Honda that had a improper license plate not registered to the car.
He stopped the car in the area of South Rogers Street and West Hillside Drive just after 2 a.m. Tuesday.
Bloomington Police Lt. Steve Kellams say, officers found 12 small bags of meth, prescription pills, marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the car Hanson was driving.
Hanson was charged with dealing meth, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. He was also wanted on a warrant and cited by police on a variety of traffic violations.
