(BEDFORD) - First Baptist Church will conduct its annual clothing exchange at the Christian Life Center on Washington Avenue on Feb. 8-9.
Clean, gently used clothing will be accepted at the CLC Sunday though Feb. 8.
Clothes donated will be sorted and arranged on Thursday, and then those needing clothing will be able to browse the selection and choose items from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Feb. 8-9.
Clothing not given away will be donated to other charities in Lawrence County.
The church also will accept donations for those who wish to make them in exchange for clothes. Those donations will be passed on to the Lawrence InterFaith Endeavor food pantry, thereby further helping neighbors and friends in the community.
All donations will be accepted, and anyone who would like to help serve would be appreciated.
Volunteers are needed to help with sorting on Thursday and assisting others looking for clothing on Feb. 8-9.
