(BLOOMINGTON) - After receiving an anonymous tip, Indiana State Police arrested three Bloomington residents on various preliminary methamphetamine-related charges late Monday night, but one was released after a court appearance.
The state police meth suppression unit conducted an investigation after receiving a tip that led them to the 600 block of Skyline Drive on the city's north side. Troopers found a meth lab, the drug and precursors to make the drug, according to state police Sgt. Curt Durnil.
Arrested in connection with the meth lab find were:
* Amy Christine Young, 42, 612 W. Skyline Drive, who faces preliminary charges of manufacturing meth, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of meth and possession of precursors. She was booked into the Monroe County Jail at 10:37 p.m. Monday and is being held in lieu of a 20,000 surety and 500 cash bond.
* Joshua Hobie Grubb, 35, 3100 S. Walnut Street Pike, who faces preliminary charges of manufacturing of meth, possession of precursors and maintaining a common nuisance. He was booked into Monroe County Jail at 10:10 p.m. Monday and is being held in lieu of a 40,000 surety and 500 cash bond.
A second man was also arrested by state police in connection with the investigation Monday night, but he was released from the jail Tuesday afternoon after he appeared in court and was not formally charged, according to jail officials.
