(BLOOMINGTON) - A group of three men reportedly jumped a Bloomington Stadium Crossing resident Sunday evening in the parking lot of the complex formerly known as the Villas.
The group then reportedly demanded the victim's car keys at gunpoint and drove away in the victim's silver Kia Soul.
Bloomington Police Sgt. Joseph Crider says the 21-year-old victim left his residence to retrieve an item from his car in the parking lot when three men approached him.
Although the victim did not report any injuries as a result of the encounter, the suspects gained possession of the his keys and drove away.
The victim told police there was cash and several articles of clothing inside the car.
The vehicle has not been located. Anyone that has information about the incident is asked to call Bloomington police.
