(MITCHELL) — Pop art or pioneer artifacts? People can choose at the Homeschool Art and Cultural Series.
At 1 p.m. Feb. 8, youths can get hands-on with artifacts from the Mathers Museum. Children in grades kindergarten through 12 will view a presentation on Pioneer Hoosiers, then interact with the realia in a scholarly fashion. No registration is required for either program.
Nancy Mundy from H&R Block will provide an informational program at the library at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 11, to explain 2012 federal and state tax changes. Tax questions will be answered and free record keeping booklets will be provided. For more information or to reserve a seat, call the library at 849-2412.
