(BEDFORD) - The public can purchase tickets today to see the BNL Lady Stars battle for the state title.
The Lady Stars (27-0) will meet Fort Wayne South (24-3) in the Class 4A title tilt at approximately 8:15 p.m. Saturday in the Hulman Center in Terre Haute.
Bedford North Lawrence Athletic Director Jeff Callahan says as of 9:30 a.m. today, 900 Class 4A state championship tickets were available for purchase by the general public, and it may be all that BNL is allotted.
But if you can't attend the game it will be aired at 1340 AM WBIW and Super Oldies 105.5 WQRK. The game will also stream live online at wbiw.com
All seats are reserved and tickets must be purchased in the BNL athletic office. They are and will be available for purchase in the following order:
Girls basketball team: Parents of players began picking up tickets Tuesday morning. Members of the Star Booster Club, NLCS administration and high school athletic workers picked up tickets Tuesday afternoon.
BNL fans and tickets for the BNL high school student section can purchase tickets today and Thursday in the athletic office from 8 a.m. until noon; and 1 to 5 p.m. All high school student seats will be in a reserved section.
No tickets will be sold on Friday.
All tickets cost $15 and are good for admission to the night session featuring the Class 3A state championship game between Hamilton Heights and Mt. Vernon (Fortville), and the 4A contest with the Lady Stars and Lady Archers.
