(BEDFORD) - All charges against Alan Yarberry were dropped on Monday because of lack of evidence.
43-year-old Yarberry was originally facing charges of domestic battery, strangulation and battery resulting in bodily injury.
Yarberry allegedly strangled a 15-year-old boy on Oct. 25 and hit a woman he lived with.
On Nov. 9, Yarberry had an initial hearing in Lawrence Superior Court I with Judge Michael Robbins and public defender John M. Plummer III, who was serving as his defense attorney.
Plummer made a motion to dismiss this cause on March 11 for a lack of evidence.
On Monday, the motion was carried by the court and Robbins.
