(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was injured in an accident, was treated and then arrested.
According to a Bedford Police report, 23-year-old Tiffany L. Holt, of 2902 Ted Jones Drive, was traveling east on Heltonville Road when she rounded the curve, lost control of her 2002 Hyndai and veered off the roadway and crashed into a tree in the yard of James Pentzer.
Police say the impact caused both airbags to deploy and cracked the windshield. There was heavy damage to the front end of the car.
Police say Holt was standing near her car when they arrived on the scene.
Holt complained of arm pain and was taken to the hospital by an IU Health Bedford Hospital ambulance.
After being treated, Holt was cited for driving while her driver's license was suspended and arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
