(BEDFORD) - The Land of Limestone Master Gardeners Club Inc. of Lawrence County will present the fourth annual “Blooms a Busting Lawn and Garden Show” from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Lawrence County 4-H Fairgrounds on U.S. 50 southwest of Bedford.
The event is free and open to the public.
There will be at least 30 vendors as well as food available from Holt's Cafe.
There will be several programs presented by experts in their various fields. Moya Andrews of WFIU's "Focus on Flowers" will be speaking as will Margie Strange of Schneider's Nursery in Seymour. Heather Hill of Hollow Log Honey in Vallonia will speak about beekeeping and Jeanne Hopwood and Zac Simpkins of Twin H Tree Farm and Nursery in Bloomington will also be speaking.
Local master gardeners Frank Wigley and Ray Robison will be speaking on vegetable gardening.
The vendors will include experts in lawn equipment, plants for sale, building materials and landscape products, commercial and residential signage, memorial stones and more, landscape design and more. There will also be gardening books for sale.
The show is mobility chair accessible.
Door prizes will be given throughout the day.
The Master Gardeners program is offered through Purdue University and the local Lawrence County Extension Service.
