(BROWNSTOWN) - A Jackson County man has been arrested on three child molestation charges and a charge of incest.
Jeremy C. Fitch, 29, of 428 N. Ewing St. in Brownstown was booked into the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown at 3:48p.m. Thursday by Officer Joe Kelly.
According to a news release from Brownstown Officer Tom Wright, Fitch's arrest stems from an investigation that began when Brownstown Lt. Joe Kelly was called to Schneck Medical Center Emergency Room in reference to possible child molesting that had occurred in Brownstown.
Police say the children involved are between the ages of six and eight years old. Authorities believe the alleged molestations occurred over multiple time periods, including as soon as Wednesday, March 20.
Brownstown Police did not release any further information and said the investigation is still active. More charges are possible in the case.
The charges are Class A felonies. Fitch was being held without bond.
