(BEDFORD) - North Lawrence schools will be in school April 19, rather than March 22 as originally planned, to make up for the recent day that students missed because of bad weather.
Superintendent Dennis Turner said the change will allow North Lawrence fifth-graders to attend the History Fest as an academic field trip, as it will coincide with this year's events on the Bedford North Lawrence High School campus.
So students will be off from school on March 22, but they will attend April 19.
