One Killed In Single Vehicle Crash Near Greene County Line

(OWEN COUNTY) - Officials say one person was killed in a single-vehicle accident early Saturday morning.

Officers received a call around 3:20 a.m. about an accident on SR 157 near the Greene County Line.

When officers arrived on scene, they found 33-year-old Aaron Gamble had crashed his vehicle into a guardrail on the Eel River Bridge on SR 157.

Gamble was pronounced dead on scene.

Police believe excessive speed played a factor in this accident.
