(BEDFORD) - A Heltonville woman suffered facial bleeding after an accident on John Williams Boulevard Saturday afternoon.
According to a Bedford Police report, at around 2:44PM, 59-year-old Elaine Ball was stopped on Beech Street, facing north, in her 2002 Ford Taurus when she attempted to turn left onto John Williams Boulevard.
At the same time, 19 year old Abbie Anderson, of Bedford driving a 1995 Ford Contour, crested the hill driving east on John Williams Boulevard.
Ball drove her car into the path of Anderson's vehicle, and Anderson was unable to stop in time to avoid the crash. Ball told police officers she did not see Anderson's vehicle until it was too late.
