(SEYMOUR) - Tax abatement requests from Aisin USA that are projected to help the auto parts maker hire nearly 60 additional workers were approved by the Seymour City Council.
The company will invest $11 million in new manufacturing equipment over the next two years as it gears up for production of new models of Toyota's Camry, Highlander and Sienna lines.
Aisin supplies auto makers with a variety of parts encompassing nearly every aspect of a vehicle from body-related components such as door frames to engine products.
