(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man crashed his car Thursday afternoon after possibly suffering a stroke.
According to a Bedford Police report, 88-year-old Nick Kusak, was traveling east on Ind. 450 when a witness, who was outside doing yard work, saw Kusak hit a mailbox on Williams Road.
Kusak's 2000 Buick Park Avenue then continued into the grass and then back onto the roadway. The vehicle then veered back onto the grass and then went over a steep embankment and slide into a fence at a home in the 1800 block of Williams Road.
Police say Kusak was "very confused and was unresponsive to questions." An IU Health Bedford Hospital ambulance crew was treating Kusak and says he possible suffered a stroke. Police say Kusak had no injuries from the crash.
