(MITCHELL) - Commit to be Fit is a 12-week exercise program designed to encourage people to live more active and healthy lifestyles being sponsored by Hoosier Uplands.
The program will consist of weekly group walks, weekly challenges, and the tracking of weekly exercise. Prizes will be awarded weekly and at the conclusion of the program.
Commit to be Fit will start on May 13 and end on Aug. 2.
Registration will be at Hoosier Uplands in Mitchell (500 W. Main St.) on May 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and May 7 from 2-4 p.m. at the Bedford Chamber of Commerce.
If you are unable to make the first two registrations, you may also register at the first group walk, which will be held May 13 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Parkview track.
