(NORMAN) - A Ripley County couple as purchasing a horse camp in northwestern Jackson County but need county approval to continue operating it.
That's why Timothy and Linda Howder of Milan recently submitted to the Jackson County Department of Planning and Zoning an application for a special exception for Monk's Mule and Horse Camp at 6732 N. County Road 1250W, Norman.
The Howders are scheduled to present information about the request to the Jackson County Plan Commission during its meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Courthouse Annex.
The request also will require Jackson County Board of Zoning Appeal approval after the plan commission gives its recommendation on the request.
