(PATOKA) - Have you ever wished you knew how to kayak or wanted to try it out before buying your own equipment?
Join the Patoka Lake Interpretive Naturalist at the beach for a beginners kayaking lesson on Saturday, April 20th at 2p.m. Eastern Time.
During this short lesson, participants will get to try their hands at a few different kayaks and paddles. Participants will learn what gear is needed and the best places to paddle on Patoka.
All equipment including life jackets will be provided, just bring your friends and family.
The entrance fee of $5 per vehicle for Indiana residents ($7 out of state) is required for the Newton Stewart State Recreation Area, Patoka Reservoir, located north of Wickliffe Indiana, Highway 164.
