(WASHINGTON) - Washington Police Officers made an arrest after a foot chase and the deployment of a taser Saturday night.
Officers were checking the area near Westwood Crossing for 25-year-old Kevin Dakota Flax. Jr., who was wanted on warrants for resisting law enforcement and battery resulting in bodily injury.
When Flax saw the officers he started running.
Officers chased Flax into the backyard of a home on Jackson Street.When Flax wouldn't stop officers deployed a taser and Flax was arrested and taken to the Daviess County Security Center where he is being held without bond.
An additional charge of resisting law enforcement was added to those of the warrants.
