(BLOOMINGTON) - Super Oldies will sponsor another March For Babies in Bloomington on Sunday at Bloomington High School South.
To register for that event visit wbiw.com, superoldies.net or wphz.com and click on the March for Babies banner at the top of the page. Or just stop by and make a donation.
Registration at the event begins at noon with the 3 mile walk starting at 1 pm.
The money raised funds research to find answers to the problems that threaten babies.
March for Babies has been walking since 1970 and have raised an incredible $2 billion to benefit all babies.
The March of Dimes reports premature birth is the leading cause of infant death, and for those who survive, it can mean a life of chronic health problems or disability. Today, in Indiana alone, 33 babies will be born too soon.
Every day, babies are born too soon or very sick. The money you raise in March for Babies helps fund research to find treatments and preventions. And it supports programs in your community that give moms the best chance of a healthy, full-term pregnancy.
