(SALEM) - Thursday afternoon, the Washington County Drug Team and Indiana State Police made their third meth arrest in a week in Washington County.
WSLM reports, a mother and son were arrested for manufacturing meth at their residence at 4604 Kansas Church Road.
Yvonne Hatcher, 42, Salem and Attis Hatcher, 21, Salem, were arrested and booked into the Washington County Detention Center.
Both are charged with manufacturing meth, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of precursors.
According to a member of the drug team, a search warrant was obtained and the residence was searched.
"We found several old one pot reaction vessels, and several HCL generators," the officer said.
Also found were several precursors in the residence and in the garage, as well as meth and drug paraphernalia.
On the meth cooking equipment the officer noted, "Some were newer than others but they were making meth there for a very long time."
