(ODON) - An Odon man was arrested Monday after he allegedly stole a vehicle and then was located with a one pot methamphetamine lab.
Indiana State Police Sgt. Curt Durnil says at 11 am an Odon woman reported her gray 2006 Pontiac had been stolen from Ketchum Memorial Nursing Home, in Odon.
Master Trooper Gary Wier went to the area and around took the report. Then at 3:13 pm the Daviess County Dispatch Center received a call that the stolen vehicle was seen in the South Spring Street area in Odon.
Trooper Wier along with the Odon Town Marshal's Office and the Daviess County Sheriff's Office went to the area and quickly located 20-year-old Damon B. Meek,of Odon with the stolen vehicle near 408 South Spring Street.
Meek also had in his possession materials commonly used to manufacture methamphetamine.
Meek was arrested on charged of manufacturing meth, operating a vehicle while intoxicated on a controlled substance, auto theft, possession of meth, possession of precursors with the intent to manufacture, dumping controlled substance waste.
Meek was taken the Daviess County Jail.
Members of the Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team responded to the scene to safely dispose of the "One Pot" Meth lab.
