(BEDFORD) - Brock Lane at 29th Street, Broadview Avenue at 29th, Eastern Avenue at 27th and 29th, and Western Avenue on 27th and 29th feature yield signs.
But all that is about to change. Police Chief Dennis Parsley noted traffic in the area is busy, and it was his opinion the yield signs should be changed to stop signs.
The Bedford City Council agreed with Parsley voted Tuesday night to make the change.
The council also voted to give Fred Herthel a five-year tax abatement for the old Ed's Home and Garden Center building on Mitchell Road.
Herthel plans to build a second building, then lease the facility to a plumbing service.
