(BLOOMINGTON) - A 17-year-old boy was arrested and referred to juvenile probation following a seven-month investigation in connection to a September armed robbery in Bloomington.
The IDS reports that a 17-year-old, alongside Devyn Diebold -- who was preliminarily charged last year for his alleged involvement in the robbery -- reportedly entered the victims' vehicle on Braeside Drive for a marijuana transaction Sept. 5, 2012.
In a November interview with police the 17-year-old denied being involved in the robbery.
But police say Diebold and Dominique Burris, who police preliminarily charged with assisting a criminal provided BPD with the name of teen saying he was involved.
Diebold and the juvenile reportedly held knives to the victims' throats and stole drugs, money as well as the keys to the car.
BPD Sgt. Joseph Crider says prosecutors will determine if the teen will be charged as an adult.
