(WASHINGTON) - Washington Police were called after a man threatened to shoot people at a local business Tuesday afternoon.
Just after 3 pm, police received numerous calls from Big O Tires and witnesses in the the area that say a man was at Big O Tires threatening to shoot people.
Witnesses say 57-year-old Timothy Gregory, of Washington, kept reaching toward his pocket saying he was going to shoot them.
At 3:07 p.m. a 9-1-1 call reported Gregory had left the store and was traveling southbound on Third Street in a burgundy Dodge Dakota pulling a trailer.
Police were able to stop Gregory about a minute later.
He was charged with five counts of intimidation and driving while suspended with a prior conviction. No gun was found.
Gregory is being held in the Daviess County Security Center. No bond was set.
