(WASHINGTON) - Washington Police arrested two people on multiple charges after they were caught in breaking into a home.
Around 7:25 p.m. Monday, Washington Police dispatch received a call reporting that unknown people were in the caller's parents' home on N.E. 5th Street.
A neighbor of the residence also called and reported individuals going in and out of the house. When Police Officers arrived they found 30-year-old Mark Goddard and 40-year-old Amie Solterman, both of Washington.
At first, Solterman gave police a false name. Police also discovered an unsecured basement door at the home.
Goddard was arrested on charges of residential entry, criminal trespass, and illegal possession of a syringe. He is being held on $7,000 bond.
Amie Solterman was charged with residential entry, criminal trespass, false informing, and illegal possession of a syringe. Solterman was also wanted on two warrants from Knox County and an outstanding warrant from Daviess County. Solterman is being held in the Security Center on a bond of $10,655.
