Two Arrested After Police Find Meth Lab

(BEDFORD) - Two people were arrested Wednesday night after police discovered a meth lab in the driveway of a home in the 600 block of Donica Church Road.

According to Indiana State Police Trooper Kent Rohlfing, members of the Methamphetamine Suppression Team went to the home just before 9 pm.

Police arrested 35-year-old William Knight II and 37-year-old Jennifer Lahrman.

"Troopers could smell a strong odor of an organic solvent consistent with a meth lab," says Trooper Kent Rohlfing. "There was in plain view in the driveway a one pot reaction vessel."

Knight refused to let police to search the house. Troopers requested a search warrant and received it.

Troopers found numerous HCL generators, Coleman camp fuel, starting fluid, lithium battery strips and other chemicals and precursors used to make meth.

Knight was charged with manufacturing meth, possession of precursors with intent to manufacture, possession of meth, possession or paraphernalia, and maintaining a common nuisance.

Lahrman was charged with maintaing a common nuisance.

Rohlfing was assisted by ISP Trooper Daniel Crozier and Oolitic Deputy Marshal Bill Allen .
