(FRENCH LICK) - Walking tours that highlight the history of French Lick and West Baden Springs are available to visitors to Orange County’s Springs Valley communities.
Maps for the self-guided tours are available at the concierge desks at both of the resort hotels. By following the on-property marquees, interested parties can trace the histories of both the French Lick Springs Hotel and the West Baden Springs Hotel.
"This resort is immersed in history and our guests love to soak up all the great old stories. This is a perfect way for us to help tell our story and entertain guests at the same time," said Kim Gray, director of marketing.
Indiana Landmarks will continue to offer its 70-minute guided tours daily. The volunteer-led experiences delve deeper into the resort's history and recent renaissance.
The tours are offered at the West Baden Springs Hotel at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. while French Lick Springs Hotel offers a tour at noon.
