(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman and her 3-year-old daughter were injured after their vehicle flipped on Tunnelton Road Thursday.
According to a Lawrence County, 30-year-old Ginny Kelley was traveling south on Tunnelton Road near Duncan Bend Lane when she lost control of her 1998 Ford Escort in the curve and left the roadway.
The vehicle went hit and then flipped going over the embankment and landed on its top in the creek bed.
Police say the wet roads contributed to the accident.
Ginny complained of neck pain and her daughter Rose Kelley had a cut on her right arm that police say could require stitches. They were both taken to IU Health Bedford Hospital for treatment.
