(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police received a call around 3 p.m. Tuesday when two African American women reportedly assaulted an 18-year-old female in the 2500 block of South Rockport Road.
The two reportedly approached the third woman in a parking lot and began accusing her of spreading rumors about them..
The woman accused of spreading the accusation, then began walking away and that is when she was attacked.
Police say She fought back and pulled out a chunk of her attacker's hair.
At some point during the fight, one of the women who started the fight, pulled out money stashed in the victim's bra, ripping the bra from her body. The attackers then fled with both the woman's bra and her money.
Police say the victim did not seek medical treatment, but she did have some red marks on her body. Police say no arrests have been made and the case is still under investigation.
