(BEDFORD) - The following is a tentative schedule for the flushing of fire hydrants for the City of Bedford which will begin Monday.
It is subject to change each day if each day is not completed as scheduled or due to weather conditions.
Misty Adams, Utilities Director advises customers to be cautious on or about these days as the water can be muddy/rusty and will be harmful to laundry as far as staining. If the water becomes discolored in your area, let the cold faucets run for a short while and it should clear up.
Monday - May 6th - 16th & S St West, Bex Addition, Edgewood Addn., Cambridge Square, Clover Park Apts
Tuesday - May 7th - 17th & L St East, South to 27th, Rainbow Hills, Heritage Meadows and Broadview Addition
Wednesday - May 8th - Lincoln Ave. North of 15th -15th West of L St., North to 10th,
And John Williams Blvd
Thursday - May 9th - 15th & E to 15th & K, North to Breckenridge Road
Friday - May 10th - 8th & O West to X, North to 2nd & S, Heltonville Rd., Mt
Pleasant & Boyd Lane
Sunday - May 12th - 16th & P East, 17th South to 39th, West of M St., Eastlake
Dr., Crawford Addition, Brook Knoll, Saddle Barn Addition
