(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after he got into a domestic fight, wondered around town and then caused a disturbance at IU Health Hospital Thursday night.
According to the Bedford Police log, 53-year-old Micheal Martin, of 624 15th St., was arrested for public intoxication.
According to the log, police received a 911 call at 2:48 p.m. reporting Martin was fighting with relatives at his home. He left before police could arrive. The caller could not tell police where Martin went.
Then at 2:48 p.m. an employee at Circle K in the 700 block of 16th Street called reporting a man had fell and hit his head and was bleeding. An IU Health ambulance responded and took Martin to the hospital.
Then at 5:05 p.m. a hospital employee called reporting Martin had left the hospital and was not cooperating with emergency workers. Martin then came back into the hospital. Officers told Martin they would take him to the Mark III Motel for the night, but Martin refused and police arrested him for public intoxication.
He was booked into the Lawrence County Jail at 6 p.m.
