Last updated on Friday, May 24, 2013

(SALEM) - Duke Energy employees from Bedford, Corydon, Salem and Clarksville districts will donate their time and energy to help make improvements at the Wonder Valley Christian Camp, located northwest of Salem, on Wednesday, May 29.

Some of the projects the volunteers will tackle include clearing land, trimming trees and setting 10-foot poles at the camp.

The volunteer effort is part of the company's "Duke Energy in Action" program (formerly called Global Service Event), which is designed to encourage employees and retirees to help make local communities better places to work, play and live.

Crews will be working at the camp, located on West Wonder Valley Road from 8:30 a.m. till 2:30 p.m.
