(DUBOIS COUNTY) - A French Lick man was injured after he crashed his motorcycle on State Road 56 Wednesday.
According to a Dubois County Police report, 44-year-old Stephen Plimpton, was traveling west on Ind. 56 near Kellerville when he lost control of his 2005 Yamaha, laid it down on its side and skidded about 185 feet before coming to a stop in the roadway.
Plimpton complained of pain to his head, hip and hand and was transported to Memorial Hospital for treatment.
His motorcycle sustained damages of around $2,000.00.
State Road 56 was closed for about 30 minutes to clean up the accident.
