(UNDATED) - One of the biggest road repair projects is set to begin after the Memorial Holiday is over and it involves one of the busiest roads in the county: U.S. 231.
INDOT Spokeswoman Cher Elliott of the Vincennes District, says workers will be re-surfacing U.S. 231 after they finish patch work from the south side of Huntingburg north to around the State Police Post in Jasper.
Elliott also says that the installation of the traffic light at the Bretzville Junction in Dubois County will not start until "on or after June 3rd.
Drivers are urged to be patient during the summer months as these projects alter traffic patterns and cause delays.
