(BLOOMINGTON) - An Indiana University official says President Michael McRobbie will say something short and prominent about a missing Indiana University student during Saturday’s graduation ceremonies.
Indiana University Communications spokesman Mark Land says right after the invocation, President McRobbie will start by reminding the graduates and their families that this would have been Lauren Spierer"s senior class.
"Our hearts go out to her family," Land said. "He will extend a reminder that the IU Community has not forgotten her. And specifically to her family that 'the IU community continues to support them and is thinking about them.'"
