(WASHINGTON) - Early Monday morning, a hit-and-run resulted in damage to Chuckle’s at Walnut and State Road 57 in Washington.
At 1:19 a.m. the Washington Police Department received a call reporting that a dark colored truck had ran through the front window of Chuckle's at Walnut and State Road 57, and then fled the scene.
A witness followed the green Jeep Cherokee to Front Street but lost the vehicle in the area of Greenwood Street.
The witness also gave police a description of the driver.
At 2:08 a.m.,Officers located the vehicle at 208 North West Second Street and arrested 33 year-old Kenneth Morrow on charges of leaving the scene of a property damage accident and driving without ever receiving a license.
Morrow is being held in the Security Center on $4,000 bond.
