(BROWNSTOWN) - A public hearing this week will focus on plans to buy and demolish a former feed mill.
The Brownstown Town Council will conduct the hearing at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
The members are seeking public comments about a $150,000 federal grant the town hopes to obtain.
The council, however, recently was told the Community Focus Fund grant, if approved by the state Office of Community and Rural Affairs next month, cannot be used to purchase the property.
