(SEYMOUR) - A Seymour man was arrested on a charge of possession of child pornography. 59-year-old Gary Fox, was arrested Tuesday. Seymour Detective C.J. Foster says police discovered child pornography on a computer in Fox’s home.
Detective Foster, says police received information about the pornography on the computer May 13. On May 14 police obtained a warrant to search a mobile home at Kimberly Mobile Home Park on Airport Road. Officers seized the computer and discovered the images.
Fox was taken to the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown where he is being held without bond.
Foster says the images were downloaded and not created locally. The computer has been sent to ISP Cyber Crimes Unit to determine if Fox then sent the images to another computer. If so, Foster is a separate crime.
